Good to know
Questions we hear a lot.
- How long before I can park on a new driveway?
- Concrete is walk-ready in about 24 hours and takes light foot traffic, but we ask you to keep vehicles off for 7 days while it cures. It reaches full strength at 28 days; it just keeps getting harder.
- Why do some driveways crack?
- Usually a missing or wrong sub-base, no control joints, or a slab poured too thin. We compact the base, set rebar or mesh, and saw-cut joints in the right places so the slab cracks where you want it, at the joint, out of sight.
- Can you tear out my old driveway?
- Yes. We handle the demo, haul-away, and the new pour as one job, so you’re not coordinating two crews.
