Good to know

Questions we hear a lot.

How long before I can park on a new driveway?
Concrete is walk-ready in about 24 hours and takes light foot traffic, but we ask you to keep vehicles off for 7 days while it cures. It reaches full strength at 28 days; it just keeps getting harder.
Why do some driveways crack?
Usually a missing or wrong sub-base, no control joints, or a slab poured too thin. We compact the base, set rebar or mesh, and saw-cut joints in the right places so the slab cracks where you want it, at the joint, out of sight.
Can you tear out my old driveway?
Yes. We handle the demo, haul-away, and the new pour as one job, so you’re not coordinating two crews.
